Admission Requirements
The College of Eastern Idaho (CEI) is a public community college in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Founded in 1967, CEI offers over 50 programs of study and awards both associate degrees and certificates.
CEI has an open-admission policy, meaning that any student who meets the minimum requirements for admission will be accepted into the college. The minimum requirements for admission are as follows:
1. Must be a high school graduate or have completed a GED
2. Must be 18 years of age or older
3. Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher
4. Must take and pass the Accuplacer placement test
5. Must submit a completed application for admission
6. Must pay the application fee
Once these requirements have been met, students will be granted admission to CEI and can begin their studies.
